It is never too early or late to create that perfect smile. In addition to teeth whitening, dental veneers, and dental crowns, Grove Dental Associates provides orthodontic care for both children and adults. The benefits of orthodontics reach far beyond the most obvious cosmetic improvements, although having straight, perfectly aligned teeth can ultimately boost confidence and encourage one to smile more often! A proper occlusion or bite improves chewing ability, decreases the amount of tooth wear, and eventually, makes the teeth much easier to clean. Children between the ages of eight and 12 can also benefit from preventative orthodontics, which can prevent possible future full orthodontic treatment. All of these benefits will aid in keeping your teeth healthy for a lifetime!

At Grove Dental, we offer several varieties of orthodontics, so we have an option to suit everyone's needs. Dr. Miller is a certified provider of Invisalign orthodontics for those seeking treatment without the bands and brackets of conventional ortho. We also provide standard orthodontic treatment with either metal or clear "invisible" ceramic brackets. For minor tooth movements we can customize a removable appliance to correct crowding or spacing.

With Invisalign, Dr. Miller is able to give you the beautiful straight teeth you've always wanted. It works through a series of invisible, removable, and comfortable aligners that no one can tell you're wearing. So you can smile more during treatment as well as after. Invisalign® has been proven effective in clinical research and in orthodontic practices nationwide. The technology has become so much of a treatment standard that over 70% of U.S. Board Certified Orthodontists are now providing it as a alternative treatment to traditional metal braces.

How it Works:

• You wear each set of aligners for about two weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss
• As you replace each aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will move - little by little, week by week - until they have straightened to the final prescribed position
• Dr. Miller will examin the process about once every six weeks to ensure that your treatment is progressing as planned
• Total treatment time averages 9-15 months and the average number of aligners worn during treatment is between 18 and 30, but both will vary from case to case

Computerized Technology:

The Invisalign System uses advanced 3-D computer imaging technology to transform the bite impressions Dr. Miller has made into a custom-made series of clear and removable aligners. There may be as many as 48 in the series or as few as 12, depending on your individual treatment plan.

You'll wear each set of aligners day and night for about two weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. You'll visit with Dr. Miller only about every six weeks to ensure that your treatment is progressing as planned.
